18 April 2014. Walk from Santa Fe to El Santuario de Chimayó, a holy site located 25 miles north of the city. Every year, tens of thousands make a walking pilgrimage to the site centered around Good Friday, the moveable feast just before Easter. The chapel is also known for a well of holy dirt located on site, recognized for its healing properties.
